As a longtime educator with a focus on special needs students, I know the importance of meeting individual student needs. As a current second grade (self contained) teacher, I now work with both regular education and special education students daily. The requested reading and math interactive board software resources in conjunction with my whiteboard would enable me to offer my students effective center work and whole class experiences. I plan to use these powerful resources with whole group teaching, as well as for response to intervention instruction and other interventions. In centers, the students could work with the interactive white board and lessons that will enrich my reading and math skills. The software and materials would also help focus on certain Core Curriculum benchmarks. Without a doubt, this interactive software for English, Language Arts and Math would benefit my students.
