My students study biographies of past inventors, presidents, and heroes. The students enjoy this assignment immensely and they gain much knowledge from it. The students will use “Ordinary People Change the World: I Am” and “Who Was?” series of biographical books to gather information to present the information in variety of different engaging ways such as a living museum, a bottle person representing their individual, or even a simple presentation. Our students need more resources than our library and my classroom can currently provide. I have a limited amount of books for my students pertaining to these historical figures. We could use your help in providing a better variety of books for the children to study.
