This is my first project. In my classroom we do a lot of moving around and sharing ideas. Working with partners and small groups is an essential part of learning any new language. The stools are great for moving around. They allow the students to quickly (and quietly) work with partners, small groups and stations. The easel will be a place for teaching modeling and sharing student learning. Students can present their thinking and receive feedback. As a class, we focus on being able to present an idea and defend the idea with evidence. Using both the stools and easel will allow them a common place to accomplish this goal.
