Technology is a necessity as I lead my students to be successful learners. In my classroom, I like to engage my students through various websites and apps. We play educational games, watch videos, and go on virtual field trips to further our knowledge of the math and science content area. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Third graders are like sponges, ready to absorb as much knowledge as they can. I want each of my students to have the opportunity to reach their full academic potential. Many of my students do not have technology in their homes and are therefore not able to use the resources available to them through technology. I want to bring these opportunities into my classroom.
