This project has been designed to help my students further understand the world around them and access their world of curriculum in the classroom. With all that is happening in the world, it is so important that my students stay informed and become global citizens. A TIME for Kids subscription will allow them to have a third grade year that expands their knowledge of the world around them and all that is happening. Through reading and discussion, TIME for Kids will open up conversations in the classroom, allow students to build empathy and understanding for others, and encourage them to take action for change. Additionally, most of my students' days take place in school. My classroom includes a wide variety of learners that require various modalities in order to build understanding. The pieces of furniture, manipulatives, and kinesthetic tools in this project will allow them to have options when it comes to learning and see and experience content in many different ways.
