My class this year consists of first, second, and third grade students with special needs, but I have taught every grade in elementary school! Our school is a small neighborhood elementary school in the mountains of North Carolina! Our Intensive Intervention program provides a separate setting for students who have behaviors that interfere with their ability to be in the regular education classroom. We provide sensory integration, and small group instruction to support their learning needs! All of my students go into their grade level classrooms to participate in special activities, math, calendar, and literacy activities with the assistance of a teacher assistant or myself! I have an amazing group of kids that would greatly appreciate your support!
