I have the privilege to teach some dynamic first grade students in a multicultural, public school setting. We are a Title 1 school with many students being served through the free or reduced school lunch program. The students in my class come from low to middle class income households in a suburb of Oaklahoma. Our class is comprised of a diverse group of learning styles with a range of backgrounds and a variety of needs.
