I teach an amazing group of sixth graders that have yet to meet their full potential. They are bright and have the greatest personalities. Many of our students are struggling with issues of abuse, neglect, and poverty. Some students don't get to school that often because they have to rely on the punctuality of public transportation. Half of our students receive free school lunches and breakfasts. We have a wonderful amount of diversity at our school, but that also means we have a lot of students who are English Language Learners and need extra language support.
