With these irreplaceable reference sources, my students will be able to practice using key components of the dictionary such as but not limited to guide words, entry words, pronunciation, and multiple definitions. The dictionaries will help to open my students' understanding of the world around them and its contents. It will allow my students the ability to practice clarifying the meaning of words and phrases. My class encompasses students that are learning the English Language. This is an essential tool for our classroom as it will allow my students to take ownership of their learning as it relates to speaking and writing across all subject content. My students have expressed their desire for a class set of dictionaries because they simply believe it will help them to become better readers and stronger leaders!
