I am a 4th grade ELL English Language Arts, writing and social studies teacher. We are a low socioeconomic Title I school. We have a very high population of students with limited English proficiency. We are fortunate enough to have a smart board, but currently do not have enough classroom computers to go around. My students are extremely comfortable and proficient with technology since we incorporate it into our instruction daily. My goal is to have an iPad that my students can readily access with a variety of apps for each student's academic level. I currently have 41 students in total between two classes. I have one complete class of English Language Learners while about half in my second class are classified as such. I have students ranging from A1 (non-English speaker) to a C1 (advanced English speaker). All of my students are motivated to learn and really great kids!
