Some of the materials that I have requested, like the storage center and drying rack, are for the overall organization of my classroom and class materials. I try to teach my students as much responsibility and self regulation as possible so that they can grow to be independent learners. With these organization shelves, this task can be made easier for myself, my para professionals, and students. Some other materials that I have requested are center materials like the kinetic sand. This will be used in our sand and water table to help kids explore while using a multi sensory approach. This will enhance their learning because students learn best through hands on enriching and engaging materials! There are many opportunities to promote literacy, math, language, science, and social studies, all at the sand & discovery table!
