With a class of 19 students working on many different levels, group work is imperative. We use group time for almost every subject throughout the day. One of our group tables is a trapezoid table, which will only hold four students and one teacher. Most groups have 5-6 students, leaving 1-2 students at a separate table listening along. The angles of the current table also bunch them all together, leaving little table space for work. We need a kidney table to be able to spread out and be able to engage, work, and learn! This will be helpful in giving each student his/her own space and the ability to lay out worksheets, math manipulatives, or any other tool we may use to help them learn!
