I am a third grade teacher at a high poverty, high needs school. We are a charter school that is also in partnership with our district. Our students are primarily Hispanic, Tongan and African-American and about 80% of our students are English Language Learners. Almost all of our students receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch. The best thing about our school is that we have amazing and dedicated students and families in our school community.
