My school is an economically-challenged, Title I, public school in a rural section of eastern North Carolina. My class is a second grade class of 24 students. My class of students will get daily contact and interaction with the class pets, but the entire school will benefit. I currently have a corn snake, an aquatic turtle, crayfish, and fish in my classroom that I have personally bought. We need supplies to help take care of our pets that we have and to add a couple more to our loving family. I open my classroom up to all the teachers and students in my school for many activities throughout the year. The students love to visit my room for a lesson!
