I teach a class with wonderful, inquisitive students. They want to learn everything but they lack social skills, print and number awareness. I have 3 students who receive ESL services, 7 students are in Indian Education, 4 are language delayed and 2 are in a special anger management program. The majority of my students are Tier 2 and 3. 78% of my students have no magazines, print materials or books in their homes. All of the children in my school are eligible for free breakfast and lunch but we are not a Title 1 school. We do not get extra funding because we are a high poverty school. My students do not have money for book clubs or school supplies. They need the help of Donorschoose.
