With access to content through an Apple TV, the students will have unlimited content to learn from- Nature shows on Disney+, Netflix, as well as other platforms. They will also have another tool at their disposal for when the students are able to chose recreation and leisure time. We use apps like Go Noodle for movement activities- especially when it's raining. Friday is our recreation and leisure day, where the students play games and chose a relaxing activity after lunch. This is an area many of my students struggle with- being able to verbalize what they want to do- or see. When they hav access to familiar shows, they are so excited and it helps reinforce their vocabulary. When students are excited about a topic, their brains light up and opens a pathway to expand their knowledge!
