My students are awesome! They are energetic, enthusiastic, and always do their best both in the classroom and community. We are a family, and family takes care of each other. Our school is located in the "fruit belt" of Michigan. Many of my students come from financially stressed families while others come from very affluent families. Regardless of their socioeconomic background, our students have continuously increased their ACT test scores year after year. Last year, we were awarded "Best High Schools Silver Medal Award" by U.S. News. Students in my class also receive 4 college credit hours through a Direct Credit program at Southwestern Michigan College.
