My school is a Spanish Immersion Magnet School that integrates a cultural curriculum comprised of four units of study focusing on Spanish speaking countries. The students have many activities to complete in order to meet the standards and goals of each unit of study. The students create PowerPoint presentations, movies, DVDs, charts, photo storybooks, and more. At the end of the school year the students perform and display their knowledge and work to parents, students, and the community. Our school is a magnet school in the inner city with a low poverty income level.
