My students are an amazing group of children! The are eager to learn and show a great sense of pride when they reach their goals. One of their favorite times of our instructional day is learning about new books and authors and having time to choose books and read. Many of my students are new this year to our school and do not have access to books besides those at school. Our classroom library is sourced with books I pay for myself. It does not provide them with many choices, especially in the area of non-fiction. Non-fiction books reach out to all students, but especially boys and those reluctant to read. My students needs a well-supplied classroom library.
