As both a parent and a teacher, I feel like I play a huge role in the lives of children. My 3rd grade class is composed of 26 eager minds. We live in a community where parental involvement is a huge plus for our school. Together, we provide a positive learning experience both at school and home. In the past 18 years, I have seen the impact technology plays in our classrooms. We no longer have blackboards because the majority of our lessons are taught using interactive whiteboards. When I started teaching, computers were used for enrichment. Now technology is a needed staple in our daily lessons. Whether it is for reading, math or other subjects, my students need reliable computers for productive lessons. With aging technology, slow computers can hinder fast paced lessons. With that in mind, I am asking for a new computer to replace one that is on its last leg. Any assistance with this would be appreciated.
