I teach in a grades 3-6 life skills classroom in an inner city school in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have 8 students in my classroom; seven rambunctious boys and one sweet little girl. Two of my students are nonverbal and are working on communication skills. All of students learn the skills that they will need to be successful individuals in the community. The students have a wide range of abilities and each day they amaze me with how brave and independent they are becoming.
