My school is located in a wonderful town in south Louisiana. We are not a wealthy school and depend on grants or donations for tools in technology or materials to enhance instruction. My classroom is very diversified in representation, students range from very low levels of poverty to upper middle class families. Most families are single parents working hard to support their children. Most homes do not have access to technology or the Internet. In my classroom, diversity of students is accepted and respect for individual style is positively promoted.
