The students of Room 100 are high school students from a rural, lower middle class area in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Their high school is a fantastic learning institution that has a reputation for quality education.The high caliber education these students receive is as much a testament to the supportive community as it is to the motivated, bright, inquisitive students who walk these halls. Though the moral support of the community is unwavering, the financial support is not always as consistent. Since the recession hit, the state of Michigan has been slow to recover and the Upper Peninsula has been even slower yet. A community's moral support is essential to the success of any school, but moral support can only take students so far...and my students want to soar. Please consider helping my students purchase iPad keyboards to help them increase their digital communication skills and bring their learning to others.
