My school is a relatively new charter school. The 2014-15 is the was the first year that opened. While it has all the essentials for a school; desks, chairs, whiteboards, etc; we are still lacking a lot of technology. While class can absolutely to taught without it, the importance of having basic technology in the classroom cannot be understated. The majority of my students have grown up immersed in technology from a young age and to suddenly be thrust in an environment where it is missing is very frustrating for many of them.
