These books will help to promote the love of reading that I want my students to share. Creating a book club on our school's campus will allow our students to share stories with meaningful messages that will hopefully encourage them to be kind and compassionate people. I want to encourage my students to read and enjoy what they read! Every student book that is used in our club will be treated with love and care as we meet to read, discuss, and analyze stories. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. Too many of my students have never been given the opportuity to read for pure enjoyment. Students will be able to choose books from our collection to read as a group and discuss with their peers in a more relaxed setting. My goal is to encourage my students to read because they WANT to, not because they HAVE to! I want my students to develop a deep love of reading! My goal is to have these children enjoy books that they have missed out on for most of their young lives. The books chosen have moving messages that I hope will inspire my students on their indiviual paths.
