I teach the most incredible group of third grade students in SE DC. My students is a mix of regular education students as well as those with learning or mental disabilities. The charter school I work in is located in a very high-need community, that provides a safe haven for many children. Our school population is 100% African American and almost 98% free or reduced lunch.
