An Ipad will allow my students to explore engaging learning opportunities using reading, writing, and math apps. Multi-sensory learning is important for all learners, but especially for students who need a different approach. Many of these apps are designed with multi-sensory components (auditory, tactile, and visual) that are crucial in engaging all learners. The iPad will provide another opportunity for my students to demonstrate their knowledge without needing to master the fine motor control that is necessary for paper/pencil tasks. My students will learn foundational reading, writing, and math skills that will allow them to be successful in school and life. Thank you for reading about our project!
