My students come from a diverse and thriving environment. In my class over 10 languages are spoken! Many also come from first generation immigrant families. Diversity in our schools brings us many positive outcomes but can also cause some barriers. These barriers include language and poverty issues. In our school over 75% of our students come from low income homes. Our school is also experiencing severe budget cuts that have limited our expenses in technology and curricular supplies.
