Hello! I would like to welcome you to Blossoming Readers page. My students are eagerly learning to read. It is always a pleasure to blossom students into life long learners with a love for reading. As a teacher, I always set goals for how I want my students to look at the end of the year and with this goal in mind, teach. This year, I am working in a low performing school with very little resources. My expectations for my students at the end of the year does not change. How I will reach that goal may take more effort, but, I am up for the challenge. And, this is where Donors Choose comes in. When I accepted this teaching position, I knew what I needed to help me do my job, I just didn't know where I would get the resources. Then, I heard of Donors Choose. For me, there was hope, a chance to get the resources my students so badly need to help them become good readers who enjoy reading.
