My students are from a rural town in Louisiana. Many live in single parent homes with limited finances and technology. Many students' only access to technology is at school. Presently, my school is looking to integrate technology into the classrooms to facilitate instruction and assessment. My schools' mission is to create an environment which fosters student success. The MimioPad would contribute to a positive and motivating strategy of engaging students in the learning process of solving equations in Algebra I.
