My students are leveled at or above grade level to learn on their level. Our school is a Core Knowledge school and we also teach Spalding Language Arts as well as all the Common Core Standards. We are a charter school so we have based our curriculum with a Classical Education emphasis. We read many classical novels over the school year. We teach Saxon Math at Odyssey Charter School. Our school has two computer labs, but they are dinosaur computers. We work hard as teachers to implement technology in our classrooms as much as possible and work to use technology throughout our curriculum. This is very difficult when we have no student computers in the classroom or document cameras to aid in learning through technology.
