A change is a comin'! I teach 6th grade math and science at the lowest performing middle school in North Carolina (but not for long!). Our students come to us from a neighborhood with a National Crime Index of 8 (10 is the highest) and 98% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. We have come under new, energetic and optimistic leadership and are on the road to collectively providing a high quality education to this group of burgeoning scholars!

About my class
