The students in room 112 and throughout my school are an energetic group that have a passion for all things they do! Students rely heavily on the school day for exposure to important academic skills because of their extremely busy schedules. Additionally, students in my class have various academic and emotional needs that must be met in order to promote success in and out of school. Students reading levels range from kindergarten to third grade and above. It is important that every day I provide varying ways of presenting lessons in order to ensure every student, regardless of academic level, is able to achieve. This requires paying attention to the student needs and interests. Through the use of a Responsive Classroom I am able to connect with each student and understand their unique personalities!
