Our school is only one year old so we have not built up much of a library yet. We have a very diverse population so we want to do literature circles with book options from different cultures to help them learn more about their own heritage as well as the culture of their fellow scholars. With over 90 percent of our school qualifying for free or reduced lunch, these students do not have the resources to buy high interest books on their own, they need to helped along in developing a love for reading.
