By taking book bags home, students will display confidence and excitement as well as increasing comprehension skills and learning new vocabulary. It will help them make countless conceptual connections. It provides an opportunity for them to further develop and refine their reading skills and fluency while working with their parents at home. The students in our school community typically do not have access to many books at home and having book bags will allow them to have access to a wider variety of books that tailor to their reading abilities and interests. These book bags will encourage students to become motivated through authentic and creative thinking experiences.
