My students are very technology driven and are most engaged in class while using their computers. Computers are used daily in our classroom and in a variety of ways. Working headphones are needed to fully utilize all the learning that takes place. When students are using their computers to complete research for a biography project, having headphones to watch learning videos or listen to audio books about their subject makes a big difference. I work at a high poverty school and most students cannot purchase their own headphones. So, having headphones available in class will truly help them every day.
