As a reading interventionist, I can see the wonderful possibilities of an Ipad in an ELA Classroom. According to research, these tablets appear to be an asset in the classroom across the nation. As an ELA teacher, I know having an Ipad, accessories and adapter would bring more interactivity to my ELA classroom. I am a veteran teacher who taught Kindergarten for many years. My current school has about 550 students. I now teach reading to students to help lessen the gap for struggling readers. Our Pre K-5th grade school is one of the feeder schools in town. This is our 1st year using Common Core and in all honesty, we are all striving to move forward with our wonderful students.
