All of my students have an intellectual disability, and attend a high school in Virginia. Their energy, optimism, and zest for life inspires me every day! My goal is to help them become as independent as they can when they enter adulthood. Some of them will be able to live in their own place with limited assistance. Some of my students require assistance with most daily living activities, and will live with their parents for the majority of their life. Despite their limitations, they touch many lives in a very positive way.

About my class
