Our class is a kindergarten through 2nd grade Autism class. The students are at the intermediate skills level, which means they require moderate to sometimes maximum assistance across most skill levels. Our class is part of a general education campus with two other Autism classes. PE is not a required subject for our grade levels, and our students do not require Adaptive PE. I would love to target gross motor skills and social skills through PE activities, but my classroom currently does not have any materials to do so. My students would benefit greatly from structured PE activities which include building social interactions!
