These flexible seating chairs will allow students who struggle with sensory regulation and attention the ability to wobble and rock to stay alert, without causing interruption to other students. The headphones will help keep their attention and allow them to hear distinct sounds while learning, as well as minimize any unnecessary external noise. Using flexible seating options and providing appropriate headphones will promote students' attention, as well as improve clarity and productivity in the classroom. Students will be able to have more independence and be more effective at completing their work, having more control over their bodies. They can wiggle without having to move around the classroom or disrupt others or require constant cueing from the teacher. The transition from Kindergarten to First grade can be a long day, and I feel that these chairs will keep kids busy and smiling!
