For years my students read Scope magazine. They loved it. It supports the English and Language Arts standards in middle schools. All those years ago, my students used to beg to act out the plays. They loved the biography articles, the current events articles, and they loved the relevance to their lives. Sadly, I had to give up Scope because it was too costly. So with our plans now to learn remotely, I'm asking for a subscription of 60 issues both digital and print copies. For my students who struggle with reading, I'll make sure they get a print copy. For my remote learners, they'll benefit immensely from a digital copy. The follow up activities for teachers makes it easy for me to assign a fun, yet engaging assessment. Thank you!
