Having access to 7 classroom devices will allow my students to use technology in their collaborative groups, which will provide them with a richer learning experience as they develop skills to make them college and career ready. One such application is the use of groups on Canvas for their coursework. It will also enable them to have ready access to the digital resources that accompany our digital literature book. This includes such features as interactive lessons on annotating a piece of literature, conducting research, and persuasive techniques, just to name a few. Currently, students are not able to access all of the digital resources available to them because our 1,300 student population is so large and our classroom devices are limited. Making technology more readily available to them is a step towards keeping their education up to date. We are requesting 7 Chromebooks.
