Our school has a very high population of many different cultures. We have over 15 different languages spoken in our school. Students are learning the English language and still speaking their native language at home. Our school is growing and growing every year. This year we have about 600 students. We are a Title I building, which means many of our students are from a low socioeconomic backgrounds. We have a large population of our students on free or reduced lunch. Students at our school receive many donations of some kind such as: clothing, school supplies, food, etc. due to their living situation. Our class is very unique and I am luck to have a such a great group of first graders. Some of my students receive language services of some kind. Although this may be challenging for most, they always have a smile on their face!
