Teaching my bilingual third graders from an empty classroom has been a heart-wrenching and difficult experience. Teaching virtually without access to a document camera has made the transition into distance learning more complicated. In a normal school setting, students have a hard time focusing in class, now imagine those same students in a home full of distractions. These document cameras will help me reach all my students by providing visual support of the core curriculum while distance learning. I will be able to foster the excitement of writing, probe their mathematical reasoning, and teach them the elegance of cursive strokes.
