My school is an urban, high-needs school. At least 96% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. For many of the students, their only real access to books is in our school media center. The public library is too far away and there are no book stores in the area. They are amazing children, who are eager to read and learn. Their faces just light up when they come to check out books.
