Our school is located in Tennessee. Our demographics consist of mostly African American students ranging from grade kindergarten to eight grade. I have a class of fun loving students who are excited about learning and love to read. Not only do they enjoy reading, but they like to give their insight on the story and how they would have ended the story. My students love watching the news so that they can discuss the current events that are taking place in the surrounding areas and other parts of the world. It amazes me sometimes how much they actually know about what is taking place in the media.
