Student-friendly flexible seating helps to create a safe and inviting space for students. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. A cozy library makes reading more interesting, and when students have more choice in where they sit, they are more likely to be engaged in their reading while growing a love for books. Literacy is vital for success and for diversifying students' interests. Through creating a productive and joyful library space for our students, we will be enriching their experiences at an early age that they will carry with them for a lifetime. Our students are noticeably more engaged in their books and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to sit while reading.
