I have a diverse group of exuberant kindergartners who are rapidly moving into the technology age, but many do not have the resources of their own at home. Those students who do have the resources can learn to use them for much more than playing games and reviewing fundamental skills. We are at a school of 400 students in a suburban area with an actively involved parent group who loves to support the classroom by volunteering their time. Unfortunately, we move forward with technology very slowly due to our limited funding. This grant would allow me the opportunity to move my students forward in the classroom.
