How can you help my small town, low income, rural students prepare for college and a world filled with technology? Well, you definitely can help, let me explain my situation. I teach the Occupational Course of Study (special education) in a rural high school. My students are motivated to graduate and go on to college. Most of their homes are low income due to the closure of hosiery and fabric mills in this once booming small town. My students do not have access to high tech. gadgets like kids from higher income school students.
