Scholars read books and take Reading Count quizzes working to score 80%+. They accumulate words and are working to become "millionaires." My scholars don't all love to read so I have been working hard to find high interest books for them so that they fall in love with reading before they leave elementary school. Students set monthly word goals and work hard to achieve them. Scholars are focused on learning safe, healthy ways to cope as school and life get hard so that these scholars go to middle school equipped with ways to cope. The fidget toys will be used to help students calm down and focus in class.
